The practical things that decide whether a project runs smoothly

Three details cause most of the problems on window-covering work, and they’re all avoidable at the planning stage:

Power for motorized blinds — if a project has high or hard-to-reach windows, deciding on motorization before the walls are closed makes it straightforward. Deciding afterwards makes it difficult and expensive.
Window coverings versus flooring and paint — installation after those trades means nothing gets marked and no one has to work around the other.
Cord safety compliance — on multi-unit residential work this isn’t optional, and cordless or motorized products are the simpler route than retrofitting safety devices.

What we won’t do

We won’t quote a project we can’t deliver on the date you need, and we won’t invent project experience. If your build has a requirement we haven’t handled before, we’ll say so and tell you what we’d need to work it out — that’s more useful to you than a confident answer that turns out to be wrong.

Working with designers

If a designer is specifying the interiors, we’re happy to work to their fabric, colour and specification decisions, bring samples to them, and coordinate directly on the details so it doesn’t all route through you.
